Right product for the job. : American Terminal AT-31604 60-40 Rosin Core Solder (4 Ounces)
Got this, then man asked me what "40/60 rosin core solder" means. Naturally put, it means that it's composed of 40% tin, 60% lead, and has a rosin flux contained in the wire core. Think that I learned this on an part of Tim Allen's Home Improvement: The complete Eighth Season, but am not too sure.
All of this authentically means is that this is a good, general purpose solder designed for most electrical/electronic work, and that the flux residue is non-corrosive.
